Many Americans are used to spending Easter Sunday at large family gatherings, which isn't possible this year with COVID-19 still running its course. Several fast casuals, however, are hoping to ease that disappointment by offering family meal deals.
Rubio's Coastal Grill has introduced a family taco kit, Cowboy Chicken is taking $5 off its "Chicken for 4" family meals, and Boston Market is offering a plethora of Easter dinner options.
"With all that is happening around the world right now, we know that Easter celebrations will be different, and smaller, this year," said Boston Market CEO Eric Wyatt in a press release. "Our team at Boston Market would like to help with any type of Easter meal you might be planning, with numerous convenient options available for pickup, home delivery or home shipment. The health and safety of both our guests and our team members is our top priority, so we want to do everything we can to ensure everyone has a safe and healthy holiday this Easter."
Boston Market, which is offering free delivery and curbside pickup, has the following options.
Holiday heat and serve meals: Chilled complete meals that include entrees, sides and pies to feed four to 12 are cooked and can be picked up at any Boston Market between April 10 and 12. Complete meals offer a choice of spiral sliced ham, boneless honey-glazed ham, boneless roasted turkey breast or a combination of boneless roasted turkey breast and boneless half honey-glazed Ham.
Chilled heat and serve sides: Available every day, guests can order chilled, cooked side dishes ready to be heated when needed. These side dish options are available for delivery or curbside pickup through BostonMarket.com or its app to help simplify meal preparation for Easter dinner or everyday meals.
A la carte: Perfect for those who may need an extra entree, appetizer or dessert to get their Easter dinner table-ready, guests can order chilled, cooked options for pick up between April 10-12.
Catering: Buffet-style dinner for gatherings of five or more start at $10.99 per person and can be delivered straight to any home. As an added bonus, guests can save $10 on all catering orders when using the coupon available at BostonMarket.com at checkout.
Easter day family and individual meals: On Easter Sunday (April 12), Boston Market will offer special Easter family and individual meals for take-out, curbside pick-up or delivery. The Easter individual meal features a choice of boneless honey-glazed ham, boneless roasted turkey breast or signature rotisserie chicken served with a choice of two sides, fresh-baked cornbread and a slice of apple pie for $13.99 while supplies last. The Easter family meal "Feast for 3" also includes the same choice of entree, plus three sides, cornbread and apple pie for $39.99 while supplies last.
Home shipment: Guests can choose from six pre-cooked holiday meals, entrees or desserts and have them shipped to their front door for free. From whole roasted turkey meals to spiral-sliced ham meals for 12 and more, all home shipment options come cooked and ready to reheat when needed.

Rubio's Coastal Grill
Available for $29 for a limited time, Rubio's is offering a taco kit with a choice of all-natural grilled chicken, USDA choice steak or grilled shrimp, choice of "no-fried" pinto beans or black beans, choice of lemongrass citrus rice or Mexican rice, plus toppings — guacamole, romaine, shredded cheese, chipotle sauce, and mild salsa — a mix of eight corn and flour tortillas and tortilla chips, according to a press release.
Rubio's locations across California, Arizona and Nevada are open, and guests may order through the Rubio's app and Rubios.com.
Cowboy Chicken
In celebration of Easter, Dallas-based Cowboy Chicken has created "Chicken for 4 Family Meals" for $20, which is usually priced at $25. As a bonus, the eatery is also giving a $5 discount on its "Chicken for 6" and "Enchiladas for 4" family meals on Easter Sunday, according to a press release.
To receive the discount, customers may place orders online, via phone or through the Cowboy Chicken mobile app for curbside pickup, pronto pick-up or delivery.
