Newk's Eatery, which has nearly 80 units operating, has hit a recent growth spurt and has several new franchise deals in the works. CEO Chris Newcomb discussed with FastCasuals.com's Cherryh Butler why he belives the restaurant is growing after all these years. The two chatted before the Fast Casual Top 100 Movers & Shakers gala that honored the top 50 brands on this year's list. Newk's came in at No. 20.
