Go Burrito to open in downtown Johnson City

Go Burrito, a North Carolina-based restaurant, will soon open its second location on Commerce Street.

Johnson City, TN - A Tri-Cities couple will soon help bring more options to downtown Johnson City thanks to a new restaurant.

Go Burrito, a North Carolina-based restaurant, will soon open its second location on Commerce Street.

Go Burrito is a build-your-own-burrito style shop that also has signature items on a menu as well as a rum bar.

Franchise owners Doug and Kelly Carroll say their location across from King Commons Park has its benefits.

"I think this location will be great because you'll be able to get a burrito and then come out to the park. So it's a good family atmosphere," Kelly Carroll said.

"Yeah, I think being here at the park, one of the things Go Burrito does is really tie into the community," added Doug Carroll.

Go Burrito's Johnson City location is scheduled to open Spring of 2019.
