Seattle-born fast-casual brand opens franchise development across 12 Western states and introduces limited-time Founders Incentive for its first franchise partners

September 1, 2026
SEATTLE, Wash. — September 1, 2026 — Evergreens, the Seattle-born fast-casual brand known for fresh, flavorful salads, wraps and bowls, today announced the official launch of its franchise program, opening opportunities for franchise development across 12 Western states.
Founded in Seattle in 2012, Evergreens has grown to 14 company-owned locations across Washington and Oregon. Now, after more than a decade of operating and refining its restaurant model, the company is bringing the brand to new communities through franchising. Evergreens is initially targeting development in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, with select existing company markets reserved for continued corporate growth.
“We’ve spent more than a decade focused on building a brand that guests love and an operating model that works,” said Neil Harfert, President and CEO of Evergreens. “Over the past year, we’ve taken another significant step forward – strengthening our operations, refreshing the brand, and building the infrastructure needed to support growth well beyond our existing footprint. Franchising allows us to take what we’ve learned operating our own restaurants and partner with great local operators who can bring Evergreens to new communities across the West.”
A Proven Fast-Casual Concept Built for Growth
Evergreens offers chef-inspired salads, wraps and bowls made with high-quality ingredients and extensive customization. The concept was built around a simple premise: make eating well easy without sacrificing flavor, speed or convenience.
The brand's restaurant model is designed for operational simplicity, with limited on-site preparation, no exhaust hood requirement, and no on-site cooking. Evergreens is targeting locations of approximately 1,000 to 1,700 square feet, allowing the concept to fit a range of real estate opportunities including inline and end-cap locations, lifestyle centers, mixed-use developments, and urban office corridors.
The company's 2025 results also demonstrate the potential of the model. Excluding airport locations, Evergreens' top half of company-owned restaurants generated average annual sales of more than $1.45 million in 2025. The company has also delivered two consecutive years of positive comparable sales growth, with comp sales increasing 4.5% in 2024 versus 2023 and 9.2% in 2025 versus 2024.*
Founders Incentive Rewards Evergreens' First Franchise Partners
To mark the launch of its franchise program, Evergreens is introducing a limited-time Founders Incentive for its first franchise partners.
Franchisees approved and signed to a Development Agreement in 2026 will benefit from a reduced royalty rate of 3.5% for locations opened in 2027 and 4.5% in 2028 before transitioning to the standard 5.5% rate - providing reduced fees in the critical early years of growth.
Built to Support Franchise Partners
Evergreens is looking for franchise partners with a multi-unit growth mindset, strong knowledge of their local markets, a passion for hospitality and community, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Franchisees will be supported by an experienced Seattle-based team across operations, culinary, marketing, technology, and development. Support includes initial onboarding and training, on-site opening support, site selection and lease negotiation guidance, proprietary operating systems and ongoing field coaching and consultation.
