Zoup spoons out soup in Pittsburgh

January 16, 2017

Pittsburgh soup lovers can get Zoup soups when the concept opens in Fox Chapel Plaza next month, according to a press release.

"We're thrilled to bring Zoup's award-winning recipes to the people of Pittsburgh," Franchisees, Richard and Jackie Cagley, said in the release. "Zoup's amazing company culture is what initially attracted us to the brand, along with the opportunity to create an inviting, community-based restaurant serving really, really good food."

The Zoup location will open in February and join the concept's other Pennsylvania location, in Canonsburg.

"We created Zoup after discovering that really good soup is hard to find," Zoup Funder and CEO Eric Ersher said in the release. "Also, in talking to people, it became clear that there's something special about soup and the way it elicits thoughts of family, well-being and comfort for many people. We strive to offer authentic, handcrafted soups that are as good — and as 'feel-good' — as the homemade soups our mothers and grandmothers used to make."
