Franchisee Kari Hingst is prepping to open Zoup's second location in Washington and its first in the Seattle area, according to a press release.
"We're thrilled to bring Zoup's award-winning recipes to Seattle," Hingst said in the release. "Zoup is an absolutely wonderful and unique restaurant concept, and we know our friends and neighbors in the area will love the fresh, delicious soup we'll be serving, along with our sandwiches and salads."
The unit will open in mid-April.
"We created Zoup after discovering that really good soup is hard to find," Eric Ersher, Zoup founder and CEO, said in the release. "Also, in talking to people, it became clear there's something special about soup and the way it elicits thoughts of family, well-being and comfort for many people."
