Zoup! franchisees open another Pittsburgh location

Zoup! is up and running in the Robinson Town Centre Shopping complex in Pittsburgh and the store marks the brand's fourth Pittsburgh location.

The fast casual soup, salad and sandwich brand opened the doors at 1945 Park Manor Blvd. on Dec. 10, according to a press release. It is the second location for franchisees Dean and Toni Evers, whose Washington location celebrated its first anniversary in September.

The Evers plan to open three to five additional restaurants throughout Pittsburgh, according to the release.

"We're thrilled to finally open our doors for our friends and neighbors in the area," said Toni Evers in the release. "Dean and I love Zoup!'s delicious gourmet soups and other innovative menu items like power bowls, and we're positive that our new guests will love them, too."

During its "sneak peek" previews on Dec. 7 and 8, the store collected nearly $1,000 in donations for Global Links, a medical relief and development organization that works to redirect still-useful materials away from U.S. landfills to support public health programs in communities across the western hemisphere.
