WOW Café and Wingery continues to show growth

WOW Café and Wingery, has announced it has opened several new locations throughout the United States.
 
A contributing factor to the openings is WOW Café's relationship with Sodexo to expand its restaurant portfolio into colleges and universities. In 2009, WOW Café and Sodexo collaborated to open eight campus locations with additional locations at Xavier University and Texas Southern University to open by the end of the year. The college locations opened this year include:
  • Franklin and Marshall (Lancaster, Pa.)
  • Loyola College (Baltimore, Md.)
  • Bellarmine University (Louisville, Ky.)
  • Emory University (Atlanta, Ga.)
  • Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, Ala.)
  • Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wis.)
  • St. Michael's College (Colchester, Vt.)
  • Tulane University (New Orleans, La.)
To date, WOW Café has 53 locations in 21 states and four additional under construction. Out of the 53 locations, 16 are on college or university campuses.
 
In addition to the campus locations, WOW Café has opened 11 locations in 2009, with its newest location in Warner Robins, Ga. The restaurant expects to grow to 75 units across the country in 2010.
 
WOW Café offers the option of a full-service, fast casual or QSR unit design. The full-service option offers seating for up to 120 guests with full-service bar, and features wall-to-wall television screens. The fast casual design supports seating for 70, with the option of full or limited-service bar and wall-to-wall television screens. The QSR design is standard for college campuses as well as mall locations.
 
The WOW Café menu features wraps, salads, Angus burgers, quesadillas, fajitas, wings, chicken tenders and shrimp.
