The world’s biggest Starbucks Reserve Roastery, a 43,000-square-foot location, will open in Chicago on Nov. 15 on Michigan Avenue.
The store’s grand opening will take place at 10 a.m., according to an NBC report. The news comes just about two years after the company announced the Chicago location and comes after five other Reserve Roastery stores have opened across the world. Those stores are located in New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Seattle and Milan.
The store will boast fresh baking onsite and various brewing approaches.
"Having opened our first Starbucks store in Chicago nearly 30 years ago, our first outside of Seattle, this is a very special city for me," Howard Schultz, Starbucks' executive chairman, said in a statement, according to the report. "At the time, it was a true test for Starbucks because the Chicago customer is so savvy and discerning about their coffee."
