Wixon Foodservice rolls out eight new menu offerings

The Wixon Foodservice Group has introduced its latest offerings for foodservice establishments.

According to a news release, the items and their descriptions include:

  • Asiago Cheese Bread Twists Mix: This quick bread mix is imparted with Asiago and Parmesan cheese. Roll and shape into twists before baking.
  • Citrus Ginger Teriyaki Salad Dressing: A sweet soy sauce and ginger blend, with hints of orange and red bell pepper.
  • Del Rio Coffee & Cocoa Steak Rub: A combination of chicory and cocoa seasonings for steak or chicken dishes.
  • Harvest Moon Chowder Mix: A blend featuring the flavors of cheddar, smoky bacon, pumpkin, corn and chopped green onion.
  • Hot Hot Peri Peri Rub: This spice mix includes finely chopped chilies to give heat, and is combined with coarse sea salt, ginger, minced garlic and lemon peel. It can be used as a rub or combined with vinegar and oil as a marinade or sauce.
  • Jamaican Pineapple Mango Vegetable Side Dish Seasoning: Green and red bell peppers, chopped onion, finely-sliced carrots, peas and corn are combined with brown rice, mango, pineapple and shrimp. It is then topped with the sauce of mango, sweet red pepper, cinnamon, allspice, garlic and onion.
  • Vino Blanco & Herb Seafood Seasoning: A blend of wine and spices for seafood specialties. This can be mixed with butter, minced garlic, onion, tarragon, and parsley with a dry white wine for a seasoning.
  • Wild Rice Fruit Delight: Wild rice with cranberries and diced apples to complement poultry or beef entrées.
