Wingstop predicts sale of 3.5 million wings on Super Bowl Sunday

DALLAS — Super Bowl Sunday nets Wingstop its biggest sales day of the year and this year will be no exception. The chicken-wing-only chain estimates that more than 3.5 million chicken wings will be sold systemwide at its more than400 locationsin 28 states on the day of the big game.
Since Wingstop's inception 15 years ago, sales on each Super Bowl Sunday have topped the previous year.
