Wingstop plans 50 restaurants in the Philippines

June 16, 2014

Wingstop last week opened the first of 50 restaurants planned in the Philippines. The new restaurant debuted at Regis Center, Katipinuan, in the largest and most populous city in Metro Manila, Quezon City, the company said in a news release.

The location is being operated by franchisee Wingstop Philippines, led by President Walden Chu. CEO Charlie Morrison said the expansion supports the brand’s goal of becoming a $1 billion global brand.

Additional locations in the country are already in development, and the second and third restaurants will open soon.
