Wingstop is winging into Central and South America

Wingstop, Inc. has announced plans for its eighth and ninth international market expansion, this time in Colombia and Panama.

The wing concept will launch a 30-store agreement with Colowing S.A. de C.V. in early 2017.

Antonio Orti Dominguez will serve as majority partner of the newly created entity and Ricard Ibarra will serve as managing partner, according to a release.

"The five-year plan for those two markets will focus on rapid development and scalability, and will lay the foundation for additional locations, while kick starting our growth throughout the Latin American region," said Larry Kruguer, president of international at Wingstop, in a release.
