Wingstop breaks Super Bowl record

DALLAS — Wingstop has announced that it sold just over 4 million wings on Super Bowl Sunday, exceeding its projection by a half million.

The weekly sales reports also showed that almost half of the restaurants systemwide (193 of 400 locations) broke their all-time weekly sales record for the week ending with Super Bowl Sunday.
