Will Jazzman's drive sales with drive-thru?

The newest Jazzman's Café & Bakery will open with the restaurant chain's first drive-thru Oct. 1 at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La., outside New Orleans.

It will also feature digital menu boards, mobile ordering and a few tailor-made menu items like beignets.

"Our campus is growing to meet the needs of the next generation of students and being able to tout features like drive-thru food service and mobile ordering on campus will help us attract and retain new students," said University President, Dr. Stephen Hulbert.

"This was an exciting opening for the Jazzman's team," added Erica Milios, senior director of brand management for Sodexo's Retail Brand Group. "Not only was it our first drive-thru, but the development team worked their fresh-baked magic with some new menu items, like beignets, just for Nicholls State."
