Welbilt CEO resigns, interim chief named

Welbilt Director, President and CEO Hubertus M. Mühlhäuser will resign Aug. 31 to take over as director and CEO at capital goods manufacturer CNH Industrial N.V., a news release said. Welbilt's board has appointed the company's Executive Vice President and COO Josef Matosevic to the role of interim president and CEO upon Muhlhauser's departure. 

The board is actively pursuing a permanent appointment to the CEO's post from both internal and external candidates.
