Verts Mediterranean Grill capped off the last five years of growth by opening its first East Coast location in Boston. Since 2011 the chain has opened 34 units and received $35 million, according to a press release.
"Boston is a city rich with history as well as culinary acumen," said Verts co-founder and CFO Dominik Stein, in the release. "It was an ideal location for our East Coast expansion and aligns with our passion towards evolving the fast-casual industry."
The location will serve Boston's Financial District and Downtown Crossing areas and offer takeout, according to the release.
