Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint has opened its third unit. The newest restaurant is located in The Highlands neighborhood in Louisville, Ky.
The company's two other restaurants are located in Atlanta and Woodstock, Ga.
According to the Louisville Courier-Journal the new location is operated by Scott Dennison, a former Papa John's and Penn Station franchisee.
Uncle Maddio's is a "build your own" concept where customers select crusts and ingredients while going through a queue. Their creations are typically ready within 6 minutes.
Uncle Maddio's plans to open five more restaurants soon, including in Charlotte, N.C., and Savannah, Ga. Additionally, franchise contracts have been awarded for units to open in Knoxville, Tenn., Raleigh, N.C., Columbia, S.C., Greater Atlanta and Jacksonville, Fla.
