UFood to honor veterans with free meal

On Nov. 11, Veteran's Day, UFood Restaurant Group Inc. will honor active military personnel and veterans with a free meal at participating UFood Grill locations.

"Our military personnel past and present have sacrificed a great deal. On Veteran's Day people honor them with words and parades. At UFood Grill, we wanted to do something more and provide them with a healthy meal experience," said Charlie Cocotas, UFood Grill's chief operating officer. "Many of our veterans have health issues and active duty personnel work hard to stay in shape. We hope they enjoy a meal on UFood Grill and also realize there is a quick service, healthier lifestyle meal option available."
