Tyson Food Service rolls out new burger line
October 2, 2014
Tyson Food Service has announced two additions to its new line of flame broiled burgers and patties. They include:
- The fully cooked, 2.7-ounce Tyson Burger (81127-928), which cooks down to about the same size as a 4-ounce raw burger after cooking. According to Tyson, these burgers have less grease to dispose and provide more inventory control compared to a raw burger.
- The 4-ounce fully cooked Tyson Beef Burger (24845-928), which come with foil bags for operators to pack up the burger when assembled.
"These new burgers were developed because of specific customer requests," said Bruce Engelmann, senior marketing manager, in a news release. "They both have the great beef flavor that makes a burger a burger, and they’re perfect for just about any menu."
Mexican Original additions
Tyson also announced the launch of new Mexican Original tostadas and sopes.
- The Mexican Original Sope (24374-621) is a 4.5-inch, traditional carrier that uses a proprietary blend of corn and flour.
- New Mexican Original Tostadas (23194-621) are pre-fried, 100 percent whole grain corn that arrive recipe-ready.
