Tropical Smoothie shows lots of love to City of Brotherly Love
Pennsylvania's renowned "City of Brotherly Love" is getting a whole bunch of the sweet stuff from the Tropical Smoothie Cafe brand, which today announced an aggressive franchise development plan for Philadelphia. That kicks off later this month with a meet-and-greet with the brand's CEO Mike Rotondo the evening of Sept. 27 at one of the chain's locations on North Broad Street, a news release said.
Interested potential franchisees can learn more about the brand and its franchising arrangements at the event. The last several years have been one of great growth for the chain, the release said.
"With our existing restaurants in the Northeast consistently performing well, we are excited to build on this momentum as we continue to establish the brand as an industry leader in the fast casual segment," Rotondo said in the release.
"The success achieved in our twentieth year showcases the potential for rapid growth and we're eager to introduce Tropical Smoothie Cafe to prospective franchisees in the Philadelphia area and beyond."
Growth efforts in Philadelphia were fueled by Tropical Smoothie Cafe's accelerated development plans in 2017, which have the brand opening at least 100 cafes by year's end.
