Tropical Smoothie Café has created Super Grain Bowls and a few new smoothie flavors, according to a company press release.
The Super Grain Bowls come in a two flavors, the Mediterranean Bowl and the Roasted Red Pepper & Pesto Bowl. Both feature a house-made blend of quinoa, farrow and brown rice. The Mediterranean Bowl combines a Mediterranean sauce with the grain blend. The bowl is topped with all-natural grilled chicken and a vegetable mix of tomato-cucumber, tabbouleh, fresh-roasted red pepper, red onion and zucchini. For the Roasted Red Pepper & Pesto Bowl, the grain blend is mixed with pesto and is layered with red pepper, red onion and zucchini. It’s topped with a roasted red pepper sauce and all-natural grilled chicken. The ingredients in both bowls are served over a bed of spinach, according to the release.
Along with the bowls, Tropical Smoothie Café is serving the UnBEETable Berry smoothie, a frosty assortment of strawberries, beets, blueberries, cranberry and roasted banana. The Spiced Pear smoothie, a combination of pear, grapes, blueberries, roasted banana, chia seeds and cinnamon, is another new option, while the Chia Banana Boost is the chain’s first breakfast option. It has coconut, almonds, dates, cinnamon, whole-grain oats, chia seeds and is sweetened with roasted banana, according to the release.
