Togo's stands by pastrami sandwich with money-back guarantee

Togo's Eateries Inc., the California sandwich chain known for its made-to-order sandwiches, will announce the launch of an its Pastrami Guarantee with a new promotion entitled "Togo's Pastrami Sandwich vs. the Breadwich" on Sept. 23.
Togo's Pastrami Guarantee claims any guest who doesn't like Togo's Hot Pastrami Sandwich better than the other guys' pastrami "breadwich" can get their money back.
"At Togo's we know our quality is superior to those 'breadwiches' the other guys serve and we aren't afraid to put our money where your mouth is," said Tony Gioia, Togo's chairman and chief executive officer.
Togo's will introduce the Pastrami Guarantee with an in store creative campaign featuring a sandwich guru who says, "No Skimpy Breadwiches. I Want My Sandwich Big and Meaty!" Radio advertising will run in each of the brand's California markets along with television advertising in the San Francisco area. In addition, Togo's will launch an extensive social media campaign and YouTube video contest. The event begins Sept. 23 and will continue thru Oct. 20.
