July 10, 2006

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando-based Tijuana Flats has signed 20th franchisee, P.J. Moore of Jacksonville, N.C.

According to a news release, Moore plans to expand the Tex-Mex concept in Fayetteville, Greenville, Jacksonville and Wilmington, N.C.

P.J. Moore has an eight-year history in the restaurant industry. A native of North Carolina, he was introduced into the restaurant business as a manager at Cici's Pizza as he was about to graduate from college.  Moore proceeded to invest in the company and purchased his first franchise in June 2002.

The release said Moore chose Tijuana Flats because of the product's freshness and the company's attitude.
