Tijuana Flats hosts charity event to help fight cancer

Tijuana Flats' Just in Queso Foundation is hosting a charity event — Chip in the Fight Against Cancer — today through Sept. 30, according to a press release.

Guests may donate by purchasing Jason's Mom's Sauce and Tijuana Flats will donate the proceeds, or guests can donate $2 or more in-store to receive $5 in Flats Cash, which can be redeemed at all Tijuana Flats locations during their next visit.

The initiative will benefit Florida Hospital for Children and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

"There probably isn't a single one of us who doesn't know someone who has been impacted by cancer," Executive Director of Tijuana Flats Just in Queso Foundation Randy Steil, said in the release. "It is our mission to aid people in our local communities in their time of need, and by partnering with these two organizations, we know we can help to make a positive impact in the lives of those who are battling cancer."
