The Halal Guys adds 1st Austin unit

The Halal Guys is opening its first Austin location next Saturday, July 15 with a food raffle, DJ and free food for the first hundred guests, a news release said.  

"The venture to Austin has been a long time coming as we think the city aligns perfectly with The Halal Guys brand," Halal Guys Austin Operations Director Ron Steele said in the release. "Our carts have become iconic in New York City and we're thrilled to bring the joy of our food to the West Campus neighborhood."

Based in New York City, The Halal Guys is expanding its street cart roots to new locations, providing Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fast casual fare since 1990.
