The Habit Burger Grill combats child hunger

August 25, 2016

Habit Burger Grill is partnering with No Kid Hungry for the second year to raise funds in the fight against childhood hunger, according to a news release.

Current research shows that in the U.S. one in five youngsters is hungry. During this campaign, Habit Burger will collect donations for No Kid Hungry. As part of the campaign, the chain will give a free charburger with cheese to guests who donate more than $2 to the cause.

"We don't take for granted the value of a quality meal, and for millions of Americans, especially children, those meals don't always come easily," said Russ Bendel, CEO of The Habit Burger Grill. "That's why supporting No Kid Hungry is so important to us, and why we want to give something back to the communities we serve and our loyal guests who support this effort. Our hope [is] to significantly increase this support and help more kids across the country."

Habit Burger Grill also announced its Hatch Chile Festival, which spotlights the Hatch Chile Charburger, Chile Chicken Sandwich and Chile Chicken Salad for a limited time.
