Western Canada will soon get its first The Chickery location because of a franchising deal the concept signed with franchisee, Bilal Khan, according to a press release.
"I believe the fast casual chicken segment is a category poised for tremendous growth, which is why I was so interested in The Chickery," Khan said. "The restaurant offers delicious chicken in a great environment with reasonable prices. Based on the success of previous Canadian locations, I’m excited about introducing the concept to the western Canada market.”
The multi-unit deal slates locations for Alberta, with real estate options in Edmonton next winter, according to the release.
