The Chickery is boosting its number of locations with a 15-unit franchising deal with Fransmart in the San Francisco Bay area, according to a news release.
The first locations will open in 2017 with the help of seasoned franchisees. All of the Toronto-based fast casual chicken concept's locations will serve a new menu item, rotisserie fried chicken.
"Fransmart is thrilled to be working with such experienced franchisees to bring better chicken to the west coast," said Dan Rowe, CEO of Fransmart. "We believe that chicken is the next burger and The Chickery offers customers a unique variety of healthy and decadent chicken options in a casual environment."
The Chickery has two locations in Ontario and one in Washington, D.C., according to the release.
