Teavana extends lineup in time for Iced Tea Day

In celebration of National Iced Tea Day, Teavana announced that on June 10, stores nationwide in the U.S. and Canada will offer one free small serving of brewed Raspberry Limeade Iced Tea to each customer who makes a purchase in a Teavana store or Teavana Fine Teas + Tea Bar. The new flavor is available in stores beginning June 9.

The company is also inviting customers to digitally “toast” on National Iced Tea Day, June 10, and throughout June, by posting #IcedTeavanaSweeps photos that show them raising a glass to summer with a Teavana iced tea. According to a company news release, guests who participate will have the chance to win a $500 Teavana “Upgrade Your Iced Tea” shopping spree by sharing a photo on Twitter or Instagram.

“There is nothing like iced tea during the summer, and we wanted to create a tea that would evoke all of the fun and romance of summer,” Naoko Tsunoda, director of tea development, said in the release. “Raspberry Limeade Tea is a blend of two new herbal teas, Raspberry Balsamico Tea, which is inspired by modern dessert trends and contains just a hint of balsamic sourced from Modena, Italy, and Limeade Twist Tea, which features a blend of pomelo, lime, tangerine, orange and lemon.”

Raspberry Limeade Tea blend, and its base teas, Raspberry Balsamico and Limeade Twist, will be available at Teavana stores nationwide on June 9 for the suggested retail price of $9.98 per 2 ounces in the U.S. and $9 per 50 grams in Canada.

Also returning is Teavana’s Blackberry Mojito Green Tea, combining blackberries and raspberries with a hint of spearmint.
