Tacocue americano eats opens first location

Legendary Q Brands CEO and President Jeff Jackson fused barbecue with Mexican cuisine to create his newest restaurant concept, tacocue americano eatery, according to a press release. As the franchisor of Billy Sims BBQ, Jeff Jackson has extensive experience in the barbecue segment.

"We are delighted to be creating a new concept that combines two of America’s favorite foods," Jackson said in the release.  "If you look at the hot taco eateries, they are all incorporating smoked meats, and at Billy Sims BBQ, that’s obviously our specialty. That was the inspiration to combine American smoked meats with Mexican sides and toppings — a perfect match."

The concept's first unit opens in Tulsa Dec. 1,  when it will award prizes to social media followers. A news release said the brand wants to grow its locations next year by opening locations in the West and the Midwest.
