Taco Cabana launches annual fundraiser for military veterans

Taco Cabana today launched its annual fundraiser, Taco Treat, which raises money for the Warrior and Family Support Center of San Antonio.

Throughout October, the brand is selling $1 Taco Treat coupon books to guests that include five free bean and cheese taco coupons. All proceeds will benefit the organization.  

"This is our fourth year to team up with the WFSC for the Taco Treat fundraiser and we encourage everyone to join us in supporting our wounded military members and their families," COO Todd Coerver said in a news release.

"Last year we raised nearly $100,000 and we're aiming to beat that this year." The WFSC provides coordinated services to patients, next-of-kin and extended family members with a primary focus on wounded Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom veterans.
