Sweet Tomatoes & Souplantation hosts DIY dessert promo

From now through July 31, Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation restaurants are hosting a "Sweet Insanity" promotion, inviting guests to make their own soft serve ice cream sandwiches.

According to a news release, customers will have a variety of choices to help them, including chocolate chip cookie bars, cookie crumbles, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce and vanilla or chocolate soft serve. Also included are ingredients to recreate the winning dessert recipe from the "Design Your Own Delicious" social campaign that took place in May.

During that contest, guests were asked to create a unique menu recipe, snap a photo and post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with a list of ingredients. Entries were judged on several criteria, including originality, aesthetic appeal and public voting.
