Super Mex to focus growth in fast-casual segment

Orange County Register: Super Mex, a 13-unit Long Beach chain with a large presence in Orange County, said it plans to focus its future growth in the fast-casual dining sector.

The move is part of an operations overhaul at the company, founded in 1974 as a family-style restaurant serving authentic Mexican food. But with a downturn in the casual-dining sector, Super Mex sees the fast-casual segment as its future.
