Subway rolls out electronic Cash Cards
December 4, 2006
MILFORD, Conn. — SUBWAY is rolling out its SUBWAY Cash Card, which can be used just like a gift or personal spending card.
According to a news release, consumers simply select a dollar amount between $5 and $100 to activate the reusable and reloadable card.
"The new SUBWAY Cash Card is easy to use and will help customers speed their way through the line during busy times," said Ned Daley, marketing programs specialist for the SUBWAY restaurant chain. "The SUBWAY Cash Card also allows cardholders to receive exclusive promotional offers on their favorite SUBWAY menu items."
In addition to being available at the more than 21,000 SUBWAY restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada, the Cash Card is also sold online at Subway.com/ and MySubwaycard.com/.
The cards don't expire, and they're fee free.
Customers will also have the option of registering their cards at subway.com or mysubwaycard.com to protect their balance for lost or stolen cards, and to qualify for other potential rewards.
