Starbucks will make a 10-cent donation to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS for beverages sold in participating US and Canada stores on Dec. 1.

Starbucks is partnering with (RED) to raise money and awareness for the fight against AIDS on World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, according to a company press release.
Starbucks donations will go to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, to finance programs which deliver prevention, treatment, counseling, HIV testing and care services.
Starbucks will make a 10-cent donation for beverages sold in participating US and Canada stores on Dec. 1. Bank of America will match Starbucks' 10-cent donation when My Starbucks Rewards members purchase a beverage with a registered Starbucks Card at a participating US stores.
Additionally, customers shopping online at Starbucks.com/Shop in the US can donate to the Global Fund directly by adding a (RED) donation to their purchase. Online donations can be purchased in $5 increments.
Since launching its partnership with (RED) in November 2008, Starbucks has generated more than $12 million for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS.
