Starbucks is opening its first signing store, near Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., boasting a full staff fluent in American Sign Language, according to aFox 5 report. It is slated to open in October.
The brand will hire 20 to 25 deaf, hard of hearing and hearing partners from across the country to work at the store, according to the report.
Gallaudet University is the world's only college in which all programs and services are specifically designed for the deaf and hard of hearing.
