Starbucks to open additional Evolution Fresh locations

Starbucks is looking to expand its Evolution Fresh beverage concept and has plans to open three additional locations this year.

According to several news reports, locations are set to open in both Seattle and San Francisco this fall. The first Evolution Fresh opened in March in Bellevue, Wash.

The company expanded beyond its original coffee roots with the purchase of Evolution Fresh in November 2011. The company plans to continue its forward momentum in the beverage category: Executives also have announced plans to open the first Tazo tea shop this fall near Starbucks' Seattle headquarters.
