Starbucks shuttering Capitol Hill shop

February 19, 2019

Come the end of April, Starbucks will close the Roy Street Coffee and Tea, its Capitol Hill location, after 10 years in operation.

Future plans for the site, according to an Eater report, are not known, and employees are being offered work opportunities at Starbucks stores in Seattle.

The location is one of the brand's "stealth" stores that are not designed as a typical Starbucks store, though operated and owned by the chain.
