Starbucks North America CEO Michael Conway is retiring Nov. 30, a role he took over earlier this year, according to the company. Before the promotion, Conway served as the group president of international and channel development and president of Starbucks Canada. He spent 11 years with Starbucks.
Sara Trilling, the president of Starbucks North America, will lead retail operations across the region. She's worked at Starbucks for 22 years and previously was the senior vice president of its north division, where she oversaw 3,500 stores, according to Starbucks.
Conway's retirement comes a few days after Brian Niccol, former CEO of Chipotle, stepped into the Starbucks CEO position, replacing Laxman Narasimhan.
As of press time, Starbucks had not responded to FastCasual's request for comment.
