Starbucks co-founder serves up industry insights

The Seattle Times: Gordon Bowker has moved on from talking about his days with the coffee company he helped to start. After co-founding Starbucks, he co-launched Redhook Ale Brewery and pushed David Brewster to start Seattle Weekly investing in and freelancing for the publications.
 
He now sits on the board of Peet's Coffee & Tea, a company he bought 24 years ago with Jerry Baldwin, a college roommate and another Starbucks co-founder. Bowker will retire from Peet's board May 21.
