Starbucks announces strong November revenues

Fast-casual coffee company Starbucks recently reported consolidated net revenues of $593 million for the four-week period ended November 27, 2005, an increase of 22 percent from consolidated net revenues of $486 million for the same period in fiscal 2005.

Fast-casual coffee company Starbucks recently reported consolidated net revenues of $593 million for the four-week period ended November 27, 2005, an increase of 22 percent from consolidated net revenues of $486 million for the same period in fiscal 2005. On a comparable store sales basis (stores open for at least 13 months), sales at Company-operated stores increased seven percent for the four weeks ended November 27, 2005, as compared to the same four-week period in fiscal 2005.
 
"Starbucks handcrafted espresso beverages, including both core and holiday offerings, were the leading contributors to our strong November results," commented Jim Donald, Starbucks president and chief executive officer.
