Starbucks adds to sugar-free lineup

December 27, 2007

SEATTLE — Starbucks is adding a new sugar-free syrup — mocha — to its selection of sugar-free vanilla, hazelnut, caramel and cinnamon dolce flavored offerings, the company has announced. By ordering a Starbucks Caffè Latte or Caffè Mocha "skinny," customers can reduce their calories and fat.

The Starbucks tall (12-ounce) Caffè Latte or Caffè Mocha ordered with sugar-free syrup, steamed nonfat milk and foam contains 90 calories. A tall Skinny Latte or Skinny Mocha also contains 30 percent of the recommended daily calcium and 9 grams of protein.

The Skinny Latte will be featured on menu boards beginning January 2008.
