Spicy Pickle, Sweet Leaf Tea raise funds for BBBS

DENVER — Spicy Pickle partnered with Sweet Leaf Tea to help children from Big Brothers Big Sisters set up lemonade-style iced tea stands in Denver to raise money for the organization. The children were able to raise a total of $4,000 in honor of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Colorado's 90th anniversary.
Boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17, and their mentors, set up, decorated and ran their own iced tea stands at 16 Spicy Pickle locations throughout the Denver area. All who donated to BBBS via the iced tea stands received a free bottle of Sweet Leaf Tea.Sweet Leaf Tea gave away a total of 1,600 bottles, and Spicy Pickle matched every bottle with a $1 donation.
