Snappy Salads hosting e-waste recycling roundup

Snappy Salads will recycle all electronic items (anything with an on/off switch) dropped off at any of their six locations during drop off times.

Texas-based Snappy Salads is encouraging customers to drop of old computers, cell phones, TV sets and other electronic items, for recycling on Oct. 25. The service is free to the public.

Snappy Salads will recycle all electronic items (anything with an on/off switch) dropped off at any of the following six locations at the times listed:

9 a.m. – 12 p.m.:

  • 5915 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX, 75230
  • 320 W. Campbell Road, Richardson, TX, 75080
  • 6550 N. MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75039

1 p.m. – 4 p.m.:

  • 5930 W. Park Blvd, Plano, TX, 75093
  • 5941 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX, 75206
  • 2175 E. Southlake Blvd, Southlake, TX 76092

"I am proud to say that our Spring 2014 Recycling Roundup diverted over seven tons of electronic waste," said Founder and CEO Chris Dahlander in a company press release. "My guests believe in this effort as much as I do as evidenced by such a great response in April. It's really fulfilling to know that we're influencing such a positive change in our community."
