Smoke's Poutinerie's CEO Ryan Smolkin is challenging CEOs to gorge themselves with gravy-smothered fries at the 9th annual World Poutine Eating Championship's CEO challenge.
The event, Oct. 13 at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto, raises funds for Friends of We Care, an organization that sends kids with disabilities to fully accessible summer camps, according to a press release.
"Getting on stage to have some fun, making fools of ourselves, eating as much delicious Poutine as we can in 2 minutes and together attempting to raise $100s of thousands more dollars for the kids!" Smolkin said in his call to action to other CEOs. "It is going to be epic, and I want to shatter our past record with your help! So I am reaching out for you to support my participation."
To donate, visit Smoke's Poutinerie website, click Support Ryan, followed by the "Donate Now" button and fill in your details. Anyone wanting to participate in the CEO-Eat-Off or to volunteer on game day, may send an email to TRodrigue@friendsofwecare.org.
All proceeds will go to Friends of We Care, as it takes $2,500 to send one child to camp for a week.
