Smashburger launches social media contest to intro Sin City Burger

Smashburger is kicking off it newest limited-time offer, the Sin City Burger, with a social media campaign called #SinCitySurvivalTips.

Smashburger is kicking off it newest limited-time offer, the Sin City Burger, with a social media campaign called #SinCitySurvivalTips. The burger, which was created at the Las Vegas Smashburger, is available nationwide through Oct. 26. It's a combination of American cheese, Smash Sauce, haystack onions, applewood smoked bacon and fried egg served on an egg bun, according to a company press release.

Smashburger fans may submit their most outrageous survival tips on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #SinCitySurvivalTips by 12 a.m., Oct. 20, and one winner will have the chance to put his or her tips to the test for a weekend getaway in Las Vegas for two people. Any and all tips will be accepted as long as they include the campaign hashtag. Smashburger encourages fans to get crafty and creative with submissions, according to the release. Throughout the campaign, Smashfans can visit the campaign microsite to learn more about the promotion, rules and regulations and view other Sin City Survival Tip submissions.

"We’re excited to introduce our fans to a taste of Las Vegas through the introduction of the Sin City Burger nationwide for the first time," said Josh Kern, CMO for Smashburger. "Social media has proven to be a great vehicle for us to engage with our fans on a new level, and we’re excited to see the creativity that comes through with this campaign."
