Smashburger will provide first responders assisting in the rescue and evacuation operation of Boulder County's flood emergency with a free entrée, side and a beverage at its Colorado-area locations. The company also invites first responders to use its restaurants as a place to take a break and charge electronic devices as needed, according to a company press release.
"The flooding that started on Thursday in Boulder County is a terrible situation. As the flooding progresses statewide, all those affected will remain in our thoughts," said Dave Prokupek, CEO of Smashburger. "Colorado is Smashburger's home, so we want to show our thanks for the efforts of our extraordinary first responders by offering them free food and a place to take a break and charge their cell phones and other mobile devices. These are our heroes, and we appreciate their hard work during this very difficult time."
Valid first responder ID is required for redemption.
