Shake Shack to open in Alabama
Shake Shack, known for its burgers and frozen custards, is set to open its first Alabama location Aug. 22 in Birmingham, according to Birmingham Business Journal.
The Birmingham location will feature Big Bob's Cheese Fries in collaboration with Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q.
The menu will also feature frozen custard desserts that aren't available anywhere else. The include the Birming Graham, a mixture of vanilla custard, lemon curd, marshmallow sauce and graham crackers, and the Shack Attack, which features chocolate custard, fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, Mast Brothers Shake Shack dark chocolate chunks, topped with chocolate sprinkles.
The restaurant will also offer local brews and company wines, and the unique touch of an outdoor patio that features tabletops made by CounterEvolution using reclaimed bowling alley lanes.
Founded in 2004, in New York City, the brand has more than 180 Shake Shack locations in 23 U.S. states, as well as more than 70 international locations.
