Shake Shack boosts pay, doling out bonuses

As a thank you to employees, Shake Shack has paid out nearly $6 million in additional pay this year, including a holiday bonus that ranges from $250 to $400 for hourly staff.

Employees will receive the holiday bonus by the end of the year, according to a press release. Shake Shack employs nearly 7,500 in the U.S.

Earlier in the pandemic, Shake Shack provided 10% premium pay as a thank you to employees on the front lines from the end of April and throughout the summer.
